Another Cognitive Therapy style exercise.

You will need a piece of paper which you divide into boxes/columns. At the top, write down a mood that is important to you: happiness anxiety etc. and on the left write down every hour of the day 7-8am 8-9am etc. Then against each hour, write down roughly what you did, and what percentage you would give for the mood you chose at the top. At the end of the day or week look for patterns in your mood. Did activities affect your mood? What activities made you feel better? Are these activities in your best interest in the long term? Can you do more of them? What other activities would also help? Apply the same kind of thinking to low points in the week.
